Gratitude

I'm grateful today for:
flowers blooming in the garden
bees buzzing in those blooms
the promise of seeds sprouting
pathways strewn with straw
a shady spot under the oak tree to sit and enjoy a cup of tea
words of encouragement from unexpected places

Thou that has given so much to me, Give one thing more--a grateful heart;
Not thankful when it pleases me, As if Thy blessings had spare days;
