PEACE

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
Isaiah 9:5-7

Hoping you find PEACE in the Advent waiting ...

In this busy season, take time for seeking peace, slip away for a few quiet moments,
have a cup of tea, read a few lines of a favorite book, go for a walk and take in the beauty of nature, listen for that still small voice that whispers 'My Peace I give to you'.

Where do you find peace this season?

Wishing you PEACE this Christmas season ...

For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Pondering Peacefulness

First, have peace in thy own breast, then thou wilt be qualified to restore peace to others. Peacefulness is a more useful acquisition than learning.
~ Thomas a Kempis
These words today (here) ... yes.  Peacefulness is so very needed these days.  It is something I am seeking to bring to my home, my little part of the world, a quiet peace.  Not reactionary, not jumping at the latest whatever that is vying for attention, not always having to put in my own opinion or even defend myself.  Sometimes just remaining silent and praying to be that person of peace (even when my flesh desires quite the opposite) is the very best I can offer.
Blessed are the peacemakers ...
How do you pursue peace?
