Summer Beauty

Bright beauty abounds in bees and blossoms.
Glimpses of grace captured at the community garden-

Photobucket

glowing sunflower
stripey orange and yellow zinnia
bright zinnias (reminders of Grandma's garden)
cosmos and salvia dancing on the breeze
sunny cosmos
birdhouse in the blossoms
busy buzzy bees gathering nectar
huge allium orb
beauty and utility- zinnias at the base of the soaker hoses

Another blessing of gardening in community- I get to enjoy everyone else's gardens, too!

For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies;
For the love which from our birth,
Over and around us lies;
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This, our hymn of grateful praise.

  1. oh, how i wish i had developed a skill for gardening! it seems to make people happy :-) i, however, seem to have a gift for killing all things green that i touch. too much water, too little water. . . . . it all remains a mystery to me. but i do surely enjoy glimpsing the fruits of others' labors. thanks for sharing a bit of yours.
    have a blessed week!
