Sage Advice ...

Photobucket

at The Renegade Farmer today!  I write twice monthly at The Renegade Farmer, usually discussing herbs in some form or fashion.  I'd love for you to drop by and say Hello.
The Renegade writers are a great source of information regarding farming of all kinds, whether you work a huge farm or tend a few containers of herbs and veggies on a balcony or windowsill, there is certain to be something of interest to you there.

If you have a favorite culinary use for sage, please share it with me, I'm trying to broaden my horizons with this herb!
My next post at The Renegade Farmer will feature medicinal and cosmetic recipes using sage, and I will also put those in the Receipts area here at Still Room Herbs for you.

Until then, I'll leave you with this translation of an old French saying:

'Sage helps the nerves and by its powerful might
Palsy is cured and fever put to flight' .

  1. Hi Catherine, enjoyed your post on the Still Room. Learned a lot and enjoyed the links. Guess those of us who enjoy using and making things with herbs all have a still room of sorts. I am out now, but can not wait to go home and brew a pot of lavender and lemon balm tea.
